THE JET 1 CUP COLLEGE EDITION is a purpose-driven event that will take place during the official Jet 1 Cup Inaugural Championship weekend on March 16th-19th, 2023. THE JET 1 CUP COLLEGE EDITION is looking for college students with nerves of steel who want to take control of a REAL fighter-jet. Only two lucky students will have the chance to win a one-year college scholarship. The event will deliver jaw-dropping LIVE fighter-jet dogfights to thousands of cheering fans. And college students have a unique opportunity to get in on that pulse-pounding action FIRSTHAND!
*The Jet 1 College Cup Edition is for U.S. students actively enrolled at a College from any career path. All participants will be asked for documents for verification.

HOW DOES THE JET 1 CUP COLLEGE
edition WORK?
32 Participants - 16 Teams - 1 Air-to-air combat TOURNAMENT -
1 Winning team - 1 Prize There are 32 spots open to engage in an air-to-air combat tournament.
Teams are composed of: 1 experienced pilot, 1 college student (co-pilot) and 1 college student as an eSports player who will be the weapons master that controls the ammunition of their respective pilot.
We'll do a random draw to build 16 teams. 16 participants will be in the cockpit with an experienced pilot. The pilot takes care of most of the flying - but the student takes the controls to line up each shot. The other 16 participants will be on the ground as an eSports player, pulling the trigger to score successful hits.

HOW DO JET 1 CUP COLLEGE EDITION MATCHES WORK?
JET 1 CUP COLLEGE EDITION matches are a simplified version of the JET 1 CUP Tournament. Fighter jets are in the air, paired with an eSports player on the ground. Once a jet is locked onto an opponent, the eSports player pulls the trigger on the ground at *just* the right moment, hoping to register a successful hit and score points.

HOW DO I SCORE POINTS IN THE JET 1 CUP COLLEGE EDITION?
The pilot gets the fighter jet to stable flight at a safe altitude. They then hand over control to the college student, who tries to line up a shot on a competing fighter jet. Once the shot is lined up, an eSports player on the ground pulls the trigger. If it’s a successful hit, the team scores points.
